Βραβεία Όσκαρ 2021: Οι μεγάλοι νικητές της λαμπερής βραδιάς
Μετά από αναβολή λόγω της πανδημίας, τα Βραβεία Όσκαρ 2021 έλαβαν χώρα την Κυριακή 25 Απριλίου με μια τελετή απονομής που μεταδόθηκε ταυτοχρόνως από το «Dolby Theatre» και το «Union Station» του Λος Άντζελες.
Τις περισσότερες υποψηφιότητες για τα Βραβεία Όσκαρ 2021 συγκέντρωσε η ταινία «Mank» του Netflix, η οποία προτείνεται σε 10 κατηγορίες, συμπεριλαμβανομένων εκείνον για τον Καλύτερο Σκηνοθέτη (David Fincher), τον Α’ Ανδρικό Ρόλο (Gary Oldman) και τον Α’ Γυναικείο Ρόλο (Amanda Seyfried), αλλά και για την Καλύτερη Ταινία.
Ακολουθούν με έξι υποψηφιότητες οι ταινίες «The Father», «Judas and the Black Messiah», «Minari», «Nomadland», «Sound of Metal» και «The Trial of the Chicago 7», ενώ το «Promising Young Woman» του Emerald Fennell έλαβε πέντε υποψηφιότητες.
Η φετινή τελετή έχει και ελληνικό ενδιαφέρον
Ο πολυβραβευμένος Έλληνας μοντέρ Γιώργος Λαμπρινός είναι υποψήφιος για το μοντάζ της ταινίας «The Father» του Florian Zeller. Ο Γιώργος Λαμπρινός έχει αποσπάσει περισσότερες από 10 υποψηφιότητες για το μοντάζ της συγκεκριμένης ταινίας αλλά και νίκες, μεταξύ αυτών, στα βραβεία της Ένωσης Κριτικών του Λος Άντζελες και στα British Independent Film Awards.
Ο διακεκριμένος διευθυντής φωτογραφίας Φαίδων Παπαμιχαήλ είναι υποψήφιος για τη διεύθυνση φωτογραφίας της «The Trial of the Chicago 7» του Aaron Sorkin. Πρόκειται για τη δεύτερη υποψηφιότητα στα Όσκαρ για τον Φαίδωνα Παπαμιχαήλ, μετά με τη «Nebraska» του Alexander Payne, με το οποίο ήταν υποψήφιος για το Όσκαρ Καλύτερης Φωτογραφίας το 2014.
Η τελετή απονομής για τα Βραβεία Όσκαρ 2021 ξεκινά στις 3:00 ώρα Ελλάδος.
